The International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress (CIP4) organization is an international association consisting of over 130 members. CIP4's main objective is to develop and foster implementation of the Job Definition Format (JDF) specification. JDF is a W3C-compliant XML schema that provides:
bullet An XML controller language for print and publishing systems and software,
bullet A “job ticket" that is capable of supporting ecommerce for all types of printing (including personalized digital printing), and
bullet Specifications for how MIS and workflow systems can automate print production from concept to delivery.
Media4theWorld has a contract with CIP4 to provide an expert, editorial and design team to help develop, edit, layout, and publish the JDF specification, to include providing:

Media4theWorld has a long-term contract with diron to provide sales and marketing support in North American and to develop a sales and customer support office in the U.S.

Efi Arazi, founder of Scitex, founded EFI in 1989. In 1991, EFI introduced Fiery color servers and today over one million EFI print controllers have been sold and installed in leading corporations the world. EFI is diversifying into new areas, with a particular emphasis on developing software solutions for the professional workflow solutions, controller solutions and enterprise markets. In 2000, EFI announced that it would develop Velocity workflow software for production-level professional printing environments. Most of EFI’s new software solutions have been developed with the express goal of automating print processes and streamlining workflow via integrated and interoperable EFI products, services and solutions. Media4theWorld provided EFI with expert authoring of a white paper and policy statement on CIM and EFI's commitment to open CIM implementation.
IDEAlliance (International Digital Enterprise Alliance) is a not-for-profit membership organization. Its mission is to advance user-driven, cross-industry solutions for all publishing and content-related processes by developing standards, fostering business alliances, and identifying best practices. IDEAlliance has been a leader in information technology since 1966 (founded as Graphic Communications Association) having fostered the development and adoption of standards such as GRACoL, ICE, papiNet, PRISM, PROSE XML, SPACE XML, SGML, and XML. Media4theWorld has a long-term, task-order contract with IDEAlliance. Assignments to date include:
bullet Coordination of and technical oversight of SPACE/XML — an XML schema for the exchange of space reservations, insertion orders, and other media buying transactions between advertising agencies and media outlets, particularly magazines and newspapers.
bullet Management, research, and co-authorship of The Business of Digital Production, 2nd edition — an executive guide to best practices for printing and publishing production management to include best practices for ecommerce and digital asset management.
bullet Management and development of Spectrum 2001 and 2002 conferences, a conference for production executives from the advertising, corporate graphics, prepress, printing, and publishing market segments.

Organized in 1948, TAGA is the only global professional technical association for the graphic arts industries. TAGA, which has over 900 individual members worldwide, also maintains the industry's best permanent set of technical papers and abstracts. TAGA serves the CTO, CIO, and R&D management personnel of printers, publishers, and pre-media companies, as well as engineers and scientists employed by graphic arts systems and equipment providers, ink manufacturers, and paper manufacturers. TAGA focuses on graphic arts systems, software, and computer technology developments, as well as the more traditional areas of press, ink, and paper engineering applications. Media4theWorld had a contract  with TAGA, and completed assignments such as:

bullet Providing strategic counsel, research, and planning services for TAGA President and Board of Directors
bullet Providing publishing services for The Journal of Graphic Technology, to include establishing peer-review procedures, confirming reviewers and advisory board, coordinating design, layout and production, and soliciting authors.

bullet Expanding upon and fully managing several TAGA conferences, to include agenda development, marketing coordination, media relations, and onsite coordination.
bullet Writing several original technical and non-technical articles for newsletters and other publications.
Vio Vio provides leading software, advanced network expertise, 24x7 online managed services and consultancy to its customers for the distribution of data.  Originally established to provide digital workflow services primarily to the graphic arts sector, Vio has deep experience in the managed distribution of media for the members of that industry, especially the publishing, printing & packaging, prepress and advertising communities. Following its acquisition by Citizen in 2001, Vio has expanded its services to encompass the managed distribution of data for providers of professional services and corporates; the general provision of Virtual Community Networks; and a range of operational services such as Security Services and ISP and Internet Management services. Media4theWorld provided Vio with expert authoring of a 24 page educational brochure, including design, layout, illustration, editing, and delivery of both press-ready files and a PDF file for online publishing and desktop printing.
